EPL: Norwich dent Spurs CL ambition

Tottenham’s hope of finishing among the top four in the league this season suffered another blow as they lost at home against Norwich City.
Anthony Pilkington put the visitors ahead thirteen minutes into the game but Defoe’s 33rd minute goal kept the game level at half time. Tottenham had some scoring opportunities in the second half including a shot by Bale that hit the woodwork but a powerful shot from Elliott Bennett in the 66th minute gave Norwich the victory.

Newcastle defeated Bolton 2-1 to move to 59 points same with Tottenham but goal difference separates the two teams.
Chelsea had the chance to move to the fourth position but they were held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham in the London derby also played on Monday. Chelsea are now on the sixth position, two points behind Newcastle and Tottenham.
