Jose Mourinho
believes that Chelsea can't make it past the semi final stage of the Champions
League when they face Barcelona.
The madrid
manager believes that Chelsea has come to the end of the road. Speaking to
Telemadrid after his side 5-2 win over APOEL at the Santiago Bernabeu he said:
"For
me the big question is knowing who will play against Barca in the final.
"It
will be a great semi-final, Bayern against Real Madrid, and the best team will
go on to play against Barca."
When asked
why he was so certain that Barcelona would be in the final, the Portuguese
said:
"Because
they are very good".
Barca beat
AC Milan 3-1 on Tuesday to advance to the last four. The first leg of the semi
final between Chelsea and Barca will be at the Stamford Bridge on the 18th of
this month.
If so, there is no need for chelsea to show up for the match. This is football, anything can happen.
