Borussia Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios will be joining
Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande at the end of the season.
Dortmund confirmed the move on their website on Wednesday.
Lucas Barrios signed a four-year deal at an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old Paraguay international has been with
Dortmund since 2009. He was Dortmund’s top goalscorer in his first two seasons
but has not been regular in their first team since this season due to the
emergence of Roberto Lewandowski.
The Argentine-born Barrios scored a hat-trick last weekend
in the 5-2 win at Kaiseslutern and is set to make his final appearance in
Germany on Saturday against Freiburg.
