Chelsea to sign Marko Marin from Bremen

Chelsea Football Club on Saturday agreed to sign Werder Bremen Midfielder Marko Marin. The two clubs have agreed on a fee for the 23-year-old German International and he will be joining the London club in the summer.

As at the time of the announcement today (Saturday), Marin has made 87 Bundesliga appearances for Werder Bremen, scoring twelve goals and 16 caps for his country with one goal.

In May 2008, Marin made his debut for Germany senior side. He also made two substitutes in the 2010 World Cup held in South Africa.

Reports from Chelsea’s official website also confirm that the player has agreed to personal terms.
