Liverpool manager has blamed poor officiating for his
side draw against Aston Villa on Saturday. He pointed out some refereeing
decisions that went against his side, including the yellow card that was giving
to Suarez for allegedly diving.
Liverpool came from behind to draw 1-1 with Aston Villa.
Chris Herd put the visitors ahead just ten minutes into the game but a late
goal in the 82nd minute by Suarez gave Liverpool a point from the game.
Kenny Dalglish who felt that the referee got some of the
decisions wrong, speaking to reporters said
“Suarez’s booking, the guy trod on him.
“It’s a joke because you can imagine the headlines tomorrow,
but the guy’s trod on him, he’s lucky he’s not broken his foot.
“It’s a coincidence, even if you take just the last three
games, they haven’t gone our way. Maybe we are too polite.”
This result leaves Liverpool 8th on the league table with
just 43 points.
