Despite the exit of his team Schalke from this seasons
Europa league by Athletic Bilbao, Raul was proud to see many representatives
from La Liga still in Europe.
Valencia, Athletic Bilbao, and Atletico Madrid all from
Spain made it through to this seasons Europa League semi final while Madrid and
Barca qualified for the semi final of the Champions league. The three times
Champions League winner with Madrid speaking to reporters said:
"Real Madrid have a tricky tie against Bayern. It will
be great and well-matched and I want Madrid to reach the final so they play in
Munich again."
Bayern Munich will host Barcelona in the first leg of the
semi final while Chelsea will play against Barcelona at Stamford Bridge. The
match will be played on the 17th and 18th of April respectively.
