The former Chelsea defender Alex believes that football at
the French first division is harder than the English Football.
Alex, 29, left Chelsea for Paris Saint Germain in January
after he ran out of favour with the former Chelsea coach Andre Vilas-Boas.
The Brazil defender also said that he feel better at PSG
than he did at Chelsea. Alex was quoted as saying in the Daily Star:
“The French first Division is very a defensive-minded and
difficult league league,” he said. “It is often tougher than in England, where certain
teams feel beaten before the start when they play Manchester United or Chelsea.”
“Chelsea’s squad had a lot of big names and that entails a
lot of egoism.
“Nobody at PSG feels more important than the others. We’re
at the start of a big adventure and we’re all pulling in the same direction.”
