Madrid make move for Bale

Real Madrid is now among the clubs seeking to sign the 22-year-old Tottenham player, overtaking their rivals Madrid who had also shown interest in the player.
Tottenham have indicated to clubs that it will take offers beyond £40m to even bring them to the negotiating table should Bale push for a move.
The Welshman has played 29 games for Tottenham in the premier league this season scoring 9 goals.
Gareth Bale when asked about the interest of the two Spanish giants, he said: “If you said to any young player that you could play for Barcelona or real Madrid would they turn it down? Probably not.
“It’s a bit like Harry (Redknapp) and England, it’s a once in a lifetime dream. If a bid was accepted you obviously have to seriously consider it.
