Guardiola to leave Barca on June 30

Barcelona Coach Pep Guardiola has announced to the president and squad that he will be leaving the club when his present contract ends on June 30.

Guardiola who played for Barcelona in the 90’s before coming back as a coach announced his decision on Friday morning. Afterwards, Pep Guardiola, Sandro Rosell and Andoni Zubizarreta gave a press conference in the Ricard Maxenchs pressroom in the Camp Nou.

Having won 13 titles with the club, Guardiola will be leaving as the most successful manager in FC Barcelona history.

His announcement has raised the speculations that he might be heading to England, to coach Chelsea the team that sent him out of the Champions League.
