All matches this weekend in Italy’s top flight has been postponed after the death of Livorno’s Piermario Morosini on Saturday.
The 25 year old player who been on loan from Udinese collapsed during his team’s Serie B match against Pescara. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Dr. De Blasi confirming the death said:
“It was a cardiac arrest. He arrived dead at the hospital, he never recovered.All matches scheduled for this weekend will be rearranged for a later date in memory of Morosini.
